‘The Green Goddess’ – Guaranteed Weight Loss

Hey! Just a quick recipe for you today. I want to share a beautiful drink that I have most mornings. Tasty and super healthy and will kick-start your day towards the weight loss you are after.

1/2 English cucumber
1 medium/large avocado
1 Handful of spinach
3 Tblsps of Coconut milk
Juice of 2 lemons or limes

Blend all the ingredients together with a little water to create your desired consistency. It tastes great as a thick and creamy consistency or thinner like a typical drink.

Go ahead and enjoy. You will love it and the lemons and limes give a super zing!

Drinking one of these for breakfast, instead of the usual acidic junk that most people have for breakfast, will transform every aspect of your day.

“Why Can’t I Achieve My Weight Loss Goals?”

Hello all! Sorry it’s been so long since my last post. I’ve been super busy writing and recording. The Weight Loss Revolution will be ready for launch in coming months. So please excuse me if I’m not always present here as the book and audio programme are taking lots of my time.

Today, I want to tell you about something that I figured out in the past few years that has drastically changed my life. I finally figured out, after years of trial and error, the key secret to setting and achieving goals:)

Have you ever set a weight loss goal (or any other goal for that matter) and not achieved it?

Are you one of the huge percentage of goal setters who doesn’t seem to be able to make it to the planned destination?

For years I set goals. I listened to and attended many workshops on time management, goal setting, dream achieving and many other crazy titles. Some of my goals came to fruition and some disappeared from my focus.

Now I know there were many factors involved in whether my goals became reality or not, but there is one over-riding factor that, after years of hit and miss goal setting finally became obvious to me….

The goals I was not making happen were not aligned with my values!

What do I mean by values?

Well, what do you value in your life? Do you value love? Freedom? Playfulness? Giving? Honesty? Passion? Joy? Commitment? Loyalty? Courage? Confidence? Discipline? Success?

If you don’t know the answer, ask yourself: What is most important to me in my life? The answers you are looking for are emotional states like the ones listed above. Get clear on what you value and which are the top 5 most important values to you.

Once clear on your values, go ahead and look at the goals you have set in the past. One thing that you will almost certainly discover is that the goals that seemed to fritter away without fulfilment were the ones not in alignent with your most important values.

So, what should you do?

Simple. Set yourself a weight loss goal. And most importantly, get clear on reasons that are in alignment with your values. If love and freedom are your top 2 values, set your goals based around them. If you feel significance and passion are your most important values then set your reasons in line with these values.

The last step then is to enjoy the ride. Set your goals in alignment with who you really are and you will be dragged in the direction of your goals, instead of fighting hard to stay in the same spot.

“Is Happines As Easy As Dairy Milk Or Galaxy?”

So you are stood, undecided, at the chocolate counter. You scan the shelf for the fourth time and are still no closer to choosing the Dairy Milk or the Galaxy.

A final look and you reach for the Dairy Milk, but a last moment impulse thrusts your hand towards the Galaxy….and…finally! You pick up the Galaxy and, like a dog with its new toy, walk proudly towards the counter to purchase  your prize of decision.

Have you been here before? Now it may not have happened exactly like that, but you have had moments of decision. In fact you have them all the time.

Maybe you’ve actually had the one above. I don’t know. But what I do know is you have a choice in every moment to be happy. You can literally choose happiness!

Go ahead and try it now. Right now, whatever you are doing, be happy! I know you can do it, so go on and do it.

It’s easy isn’t it? So what did you do? In fact, what have you done every time you’ve ever ben happy?

Most people beleive that their happiness is due to something that happens to them or for them. They believe that happiness just shows up due to these circumstances and they have no control over it.

Well, I say rubbish to that! If you just followed the above exercise and chose to be happy, then it stands to reason you can choose happiness at any time, any moment, in any place, wthin any circumstance.

Why does it seem that this is not possible?

Because it has not been an experience you have had or witnessed first hand. Your happiness probably meanders in and quietly leaves like that almost elusive cool breeze on the scorching summers day.

So how can you even believe in such a thing being possible? Your belief in your ability to choose happiness whenever you please will grow with your actually doing it.

‘How do I do it?’ I hear you ask. Now that is a great question.

If you didn’t make yourself happy a moment ago, try it now. Just be happy…

What did you do to get there? What, specifically, did you do to make yourself happy?

Let me give you a hand:

I’m sure you would have smiled, right?

Did your breathing become a little slower and fuller?

Did your chin lift a little? Maybe your eyes looked up too?

Did you think of a memory of a good time?

Maybe you said something to yourself about being happy?

You see, it’s simple to figure out because there are certain habitual things you do when you are happy.

There are 3 particular things you do that run alongside all of your emotions:

1) Place your body in certain positions. Your body is conditioned to do certain things when you experience a particular emotion. Notice what you do with your hands, head, face, breathing, feet, shoulders, chest, arms, legs etc. next time you experience any emotion. You will begin to notice patterns.

2) What you focus on. Think about something that makes you happy and you will immediately feel happy. Think about something that makes you angry and you will experience this emotion too. Your thoughts are a gateway to your feelings.

3) What you say. If you say you can’t do something, then you won’t do it. If you say you can do something, then you will do it. Watch your innner and outer voice. Notice what you are saying, because what you are saying is a great indication of what you are feeling and also your words can create your emotions.

Most people feel that something has to happen for happiness to then happen. A little like the chicken and the egg debate, ‘which one came first?’ Do we need something or someone to make us feel happy then we place our body, focus and words in positions of happiness? Or can we put our body, focus and words in alignment with happiness and thus feel happy at choice?

Yes to both!

You can simply allow external circumstances to control your emotions or you can take control of them yourself. Which do you choose?!

Taking control of your emotions is the most important factor to consider in your life. After all, why do you do everyting  you do? If you think a bout it, I believe you will find the answer is that you do what you do in life in the pursuit of happiness.

“What Did The Doctor Say?”

Bernie Siegel could not be more right! Do you believe in miracles? Have you experienced them in your life?

Of course you have! Miracles are happening all day every day. Noticing them is the trick. It is your perception of what is happening that makes all the difference.

Take cancer for example. When someone is told they have 3 months to live due to cancer, they have options. However, their perception of what this diagnosis means can, and often does, determine the outcome.

If somone perceives that Doctors never make mistakes; that they never get it wrong; that there is nothing that Doctors don’t know, then they may well fully believe their diagnosis of 3 months to live.

And believing something is the first step to making it real!

Conversely, if someone is told by their Doctor that they have 3 months to live and they believe that Doctors are NOT always correct; that all illness’ can be reversed; that they can heal their body, this person will move in the direction of their beliefs.

You see, whatever we hold as true (what we believe) we tend to move towards in our life. Put another way…

“The Cancer Revolution!”

Every single day people are dying unnecessarily. Diagnosis’ are given and then brought painfully to reality by patients trusting in their prediction. Doctors, amazing people who dedicate their lives to helping others, not always fully understanding the incredible power of certainty that their words give to a patient, for better or for worse.

Thousands of people are diagnosed with Cancer each and every year, and the numbers are growing. Families and friends confronting pain beyond measure as they watch a loved one pass, often painfully, away. Children left to bare witness to their once strong parents: parents left with the unbearable task of burying their children.

Why is this happening? Why is it that we have deemed cancerous death as a standard and acceptable part of society?

Ignorance. This is the simple truth of our fast approaching epidemic set to change the human population forever if we do not address the cause of this life-taking dis-ease.

So where do we start? Firstly, we must understand what cancer is…and what it isn’t.

What cancer is not:

It is not a cell gone bad

It is not something that just turns up in your body

It is not something that you defintely acquire simply because a parent had it

It is not something that is incurable!

So what is cancer and what can be done to reverse it?

Cancer is an acidic liquid. When too much acid is created within our bodies through certain lifestyle choices, our bodies remove the acidic waste through 4 natural channels: Urination, Defecation, Perspiration and Respiration.

When we create too much acid for the body to be able to deal with via these 4 channels, our body begins a series of secondary options to neutralise the acids. When it can no longer remove the acid from the bloodstream and place it somewhere safe or get it out of the body, it throws this acidic waste into the tissues. This acidic liquid can then spread to organs and any other part of the body.

This acidic liquid (cancer) destroys the cells it comes into contact with. Imagine a bushel of apples, with one spoiling. As you can imagine the spoilt apple spoils the ones closest to it. This is what happens with our cells. This, in-turn, creates more acid and the cycle of death is in full swing.

The solution then becomes simple…Heavy Alkalisation Of The Dis-eased Body!

This process can, and has done thousands of times, reverse the symptons of cancer. So why don’t more people do it? FEAR!

The first andmost important step in curing cancer is the belief of the patient that it is possible. When a Doctor tells their patient that they have a set amount of time to live, is it any wonder that very often that person will live for approxiamtely that timeframe?

The mindset is more powerful to physcially control the human body than even our leading edge thinkers in this field have probably ever  imagined. So it begins with the thought ‘I can heal!’ ‘I can beat this’ ‘I will be healthy again!’

The steps from there are simple. Heavily alkaline activites, thinking and eating and drinking.

Another helping hand towards cancer sufferers not surviving their illness is the rediculous treatments that are given to them. Through incredible fear, cancer sufferers are usually persuaded to undergo chemotherapy. A process of pumping highly acidic substances into an already overly acidic body.

Thus creating conditions that are even more condusive to loss of life.

All in all, I am sabsolutely sick of seeing people die painfully and having to go through the destruction to their lives and the lives of those around them, when true education and guidance of a real solution is so simple.

I hope I do not offend you by suggesting the simplicity of this, but it is my true and strong belief that most people who pass due to cancer can be healed.

Jade Goody does not have to die! And for goodness sake, somone please get the message to her. If you know anyone who is in the middle of a cancer ‘battle’ please pass this message on.

Cancer is reversible and can be healed. It doesn’t always have to mean the end for the sufferer and there are certainly steps we can take to make sure our body never has to suffer the slings of this dis-ease.

So if you have cancer or know someone who has, I emplore you to search out another route. I beg of you to look deeper into what I have said here. I am not telling you to directly ignore what your Doctor says, but please consider all the options you have available.

“Someone Please Tell Jade Goody…”

Her treatment doesn’t have to be about simply ‘extending her life a little!’

Her kids don’t have to grow up without their Mother!

She does not need to die before she has even turned 30!

You have obviously heard of Jade Goody and her battle with cancer. My wishes and prayers go out to her and her family at this time…

And I want to help!!

Jades cancer is reversible! Now I know we, as well as Jade, have been told she only has  a little time left in this life, but I disagree.

Jade Goody has the power within her to tranform her body into a healthy state and rid the cancer from her body, and here is why…

Firstly, it’s important to understand what cancer is. It is not a cell, it is an acidic liquid! This acidic liquid is caused by our lifestyle choices.

How we choose to use our bodies, what we ingest and how we think all determine the results we will experience in our bodies.

It is true that the body is alkaline by design and acidic by nature, i.e acid is created by the process’ of the body. And it is also true that the body can deal with this acid providing it is given the alkalinity to do so.

Through bad lifestyle choices we add much more acid to the body than it can cope with. This is the beginning of all sickness and disease within the human body, and is the beginning of the condition we know as cancer.

So what is happening in Jade’s body?

Jade’s body is in a state of, in laymans terms, high acidity! Acidic liquids have been created and have begun to wreak havoc throughout her body.

These acidic liquids/cancer (remember, cancer is not a cell it’s a liquid) are destroying cells in her body. Imagine a bushel of apples…when one spoils, it spoils the others around it. The same happens with the cancer.

With this ‘spoiling of cells, Jades body is quickly ‘breaking down’ and the chemotherapy and other treatments are adding bundles more acidic matter into an already overly acidic body.

So what’s the solution?

The solution is simple! Jade, and anyone else suffering symptons of dis-ease, needs to heavily alkalise her body. Doing this will equip her body with the alkalinity it needs to remove the acid and return her body to a natural state of balance.

This is achieved through 3 cores. What MUST be ingested, what MUST be done with the body and what MUST be done with the mind.

So I beg you, with love in my heart, please pass on a meassage of hope to Jade, or anyone you know who may be suffering, if you know her or anyone close enough to get the message to her and allow her the option of hearing this message.

Cancer is reversible! It has happended thousands of times, also with people in worse condition than Jade’s body has reached.

The Protein Myth!

You do not need anywhere near the amount of protein that you have been taught to believe!!

This is a subject that comes up over and over again when I’m talking about weight loss and healthy living. The truth is pointing strongly towards protein requirements of 15-25 grams per day!

Now, I know what you are thinking, I’m wrong! But wait and let me explain…

Firstly, think about the time in your life when your physical growth is at it’s most rapid….when you are first born. You drink your mothers milk during this period and mothers milk is somewhere between 1.2-1.6% protein!

Also, 70% of your protein requirements are formed within the body. Leaving a small amount necessary from outside sources.

If you look into studies that are conducted by people who do not have a vested interest in people eating large quantities of protein (I’ll leave you to figure out which people I am talking about) you will discover the the 15-25 gram range is pretty standard.

Finally, protein does not build muscle!! Now this is a hugely controversial statement and flies against everything you have probably been taught. And for this reason I will let my friend Dr. Robert Young comment on protein building muscles:
 

“This is another fictitious distortion based on faulty observation based on a) preconceived notions about how the body works and b) the failure of science to sufficiently isolate variables when making so-called scientific observations. Tell the strongest animals in the world–vegetarian animals–that eating protein builds muscle. Eating protein actually makes you weak and eventually sick and tired from the debilitating acids of sulphuric, nitric, phosphoric and uric acid. The body builds muscle from blood and not from plant or animal protein. At the Ranch we grow avocados. We give our avocados minerals, water and sunshine – no protein. Yet, our avocados are 80% healthy fat and 15% protein. If you want to build muscle you have to build blood. And to build blood you have to eat green foods and lots of them.”

Dr. Young has spent the last 30 years studying the body, particularly the blood, and the effects of food and fluids on the body.

He holds 5 degrees in science including 3 doctoral degrees. His areas of expertise include microbiology, nutrition, diet, blood analysis and disease prevention.

So where do you stand? I am a vegetarian, I take no protein supplements and consume a tiny amount of dairy. I feel strong, fit and healthy, as any one who knows me will testify to.

If you are caught up in the myth that you need 100 grams of protein per day or anywhere near it, maybe it’s time for a change…

Your protein consumption is slowly killing you!

If you don’t believe this, which I understand, as you would have been taught the opposite your entire life, try it out!

The proof is in the pudding as they say. If you drop your protein consumption, you will lose weight, increase your energy and feel much much better!

The reason I wanted to mention this is because a lot of the myths in the world of health and weight loss are just plain inaccurate. I have studied, and continue to do so, with the worlds leading edge thinkers and researchers in the area of healthy living.

 

Nothing is given to you in this blog or any other products and articles of mine, that I have not researched in depth and, more importantly, tried myself.

 

Thank you to the person who left the reply. I’m glad the issue was raised again. If you don’t remember the article, I explained that not only is unprocessed, natural salt good for you, it is also absolutely critical in keeping your body alive (refer to the article for a more in-depth description)

 

This person’s comments reminded me that most people oppose a new idea when it flies in the face of conventional thought. And thus reminded me that these simple and life changing principles need to be stated loudly and stated over and over until the myths of healthy living become myths in everyones eyes.
